David Alan Basche & Alysia Reiner Expecting 1st Child

Starring in The Starter Wife isn't the only joint project for David Alan Basche and Alysia Reiner. The couple is also expecting their first child together this winter.

Alysia, who starred in the miniseries The Starter Wife, will be reprising her role on the network series this fall. David is a regular cast member on NBC's Lipstick Jungle and will be joining the cast opposite Debra Messing as her character's ex-husband, Kenny Kagan.

David and Alysia first met during a summer theater program in Vermont several years ago and fell in love,

"The script said fall in love," David said. "You don't argue with Shakespeare!"
