I was just thinking the same thing, it seems he always has pants that are not long enough on. I read in an article a long time ago that Sarah Jessica Parker gets lots of his clothes as hand-me-downs from her siblings children (which is awesome, recycle & reuse!) but maybe she can just reuse shirts and by the kiddo some new long pants.....
