Dr. Phil Spends Time With Britney-Gives A Diagnosis

Why does this make me cringe? Is he really trying to help her, or is it just for ratings? Well, Dr. Phil has spoken, after spending an hour with Britney, he has a diagnosis:

"My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention. She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her."

If you're interested, Dr. Phil will share more details from his chat with Britney on his show next week.

When I first heard that he was becoming involved, I thought the same thing. I really believe he will do more harm than good. I'm not a Britney fan by any means (different generation), I just think this girl needs to get out of the spotlight for a while and get the help she so obviously needs.

If Dr. Phil wants to help Brit, it should be done privately, out of the spotlight, like other mental health treatment.
