Moses Martin "Likes His Independence"

Moses Bruce Anthony Martin is pictured arriving at his second birthday party April 8, which was held at Centrico, a Mexican restaurant in New York City.

Gwyneth told PEOPLE all about the party at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's annual spring gala,

"It's so exciting, we had a little birthday party at 5 p.m. – a little dinner for all of his New York friends. He loves guacamole.” Like any mom, she's realizing how fast he's growing, “[He’s] not so little anymore,” she said. “He doesn’t like a stroller anymore, he doesn’t like a highchair. He likes his independence.”

The woman holding Moses is either a friend or his nanny.
