Solange Knowles' Advice To Jamie Lynn Spears

Solange Knowles had her son Daniel in 2004 when she was 18, and knows all about the challenges that come with being a teen mother. Knowles, 21, recently talked to Us Weekly about how she focused on raising her son, and also had some words of wisdom for pregnant 17-year old Jamie Lynn Spears.

"I'm sure a lot of people perceived that I was gonna be a young, irresponsible mom, [but] I think that there are some moms who are 35 who are just as irresponsible." To focus on raising her son, Knowles said she "moved to the country for a year" without any nannies or babysitters."My parents lived on a whole opposite part of the world," she said. "My son has been my focus ever since the day he was born. He's been the light of my life, the inspiration behind everything."

What kind of advice did she give to Jamie Lynn?

"You just have to make the best decisions for you. You have to decide what's best for you. Who are we to say what's right and wrong for a person?"

I agree with Solange not just because i am 18 and i have a 6 month old baby but because, there are older women out here who's not taking care of there kids and there's alot of debt beat dads out here. Not to mention the fact that no human being should judge one another. I think that people need to stop trying to do God's work and leave the judging up to him. I also think that how ever old a child is when they are having babies you can't just look at them you have to also look at what that child may have been through to get where they are now. I don't see anything wrong with Jamie Lynn Spears having her baby at a young age, because babies are blessings not mistakes. But everyone have there own opinion, but guess what though Jamie lynn is living her life. That's a good thing and i can't wait to watch some more of her Zoey 101 shows i lvoe her and Solange and Solange girl you are right good luck and the baby is adorable.
