No TV for Violet & Jennifer is NOT pregnant!

Jenviolet_2Jennifer Garner has put the pregnancy rumors to rest after she told The Boston Globe, “Is it because I don’t have the flattest stomach in the world that people keep asking ?”

No siblings for Violet, 21-months just yet. Jennifer plans to work for a while before having another baby. She has an new movie coming out, The Killer, where she plays a tough FBI agent. Next stop, Broadway, in Cyrano De Bergerac opening this fall.

As for some inside scoop, Jennifer does not let Violet watch any TV, claiming, “I want all the attention.”

The terrible twos are just around the corner, but Garner says, “We haven’t hit 2 yet. We have seen glimpses of terrible, but for the most part [things are] pretty smooth.”

As far as the pregnancy rumors, I think there are times where she looks like she could be pregnant, also with Violet approaching two, it isn’t unlikely that they would be trying for baby #2 soon.

I think it’s great she doesn’t let Violet watch TV, but how realistic is that? For me I need it, or I would never be able to take a shower. I don’t overdo it, but my kids do watch. Do you let your kids watch TV?

I have no problem with the tv. I mean seriously, my son watches Dora and Thomas the Train, not The Sopranos. I doubt very highly his intense love for The Backyardigans will ensure a visit to joovie when he’s in high school. He learns a lot, has fun, and I get to sit quietly and collect my thoughts or get some mounting housework completed. A win-win for everyone!

Yes, I must admit I do use the TV as a babysitter when I need to get things done
(I wouldn’t be able to take a shower either 8-). My kids love to be outside, so that is where they spend most of their time. I don’t have a nanny, so I need to be creative to keep my kids busy and out of trouble when I am doing housework etc.
