This past spring Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily Rose was hospitalized with an undisclosed illness. He talked to People about his panic during that time:
"To say it was the darkest moment, that’s nothing," the 44-year-old actor, next up in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, tells Entertainment Weekly. "It doesn’t come close to describing it. Words are so small."
"Now every single millisecond is a mini-celebration," says the two-time Oscar nominee. "Every time we get to breathe in and exhale is a huge victory. She pulled through beautifully, perfectly, with no lasting anything."
Whenever I see or read a Johnny Depp interview I find him very interesting. He’s very much a family man. Somewhere I read that he is very nice and polite to his fans, always stopping to sign autographs-despite being such a private person.
Depp also has a son, Jack, 5, with longtime partner Vanessa Paradis.
