It seems Britain’s highest paid news anchor Natasha Kaplinsky, who just announced that she’s three months pregnant – won’t be receiving any maternity pay. The mom-to-be earns £1 million a year as a news reader for Five news, but apparently she was hired on a freelance contract that doesn’t entitle her to maternity pay. An insider tell the Daily Mail,
“Natasha is only paid when she is here, she will not be getting maternity pay.”
Natasha, 35, is expecting her first child with husband Justin Bower – the baby is due in October. She is pictured on her way to work yesterday.
