Garcelle Speaks On Raising Twin Boys

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, 41 year-old actress and former model, said she’s learning more and more about her twin boys every day:

“I thought they would be connected the minute they get out of the womb and it’s just the past two months that they’ve discovered each other, that they’ll make eye contact and smile at one another. I thought they’d come out and hold hands all the time, but it wasn’t like that. The thing that I find fascinating for me is that I absolutely love them the same. There isn’t one favorite. But my husband says, ‘whoever sleeps through the night—that’s my favorite!’”

The former Jamie Foxx Show star said that her husband Mike Nilon is a great dad to 6 month-old twins Jax and Jaid:

“He’s such a great dad. It’s funny — the other day he had one in one of those Baby Björns and he was pushing the other in the stroller and these older women walked by, and they were like, ‘where were you men when we were raising children?’ Guys now are doing more!”

Garcelle said Mike is her perfect match:

“He’s just really loving. He loves me no matter what I look like. It’s really important to find somebody that you love and you want to share your life with, and especially when there’s kids involved. We don’t take it lightly.”

Garcelle does a regular exercise routine of Pilates and uses the food delivery system Sunfare:

“When you have twins, there’s a lot to do, so making dinner, going shopping is really difficult and to have this food delivered every day, it’s fresh and it’s good, it was brilliant. I think the best part is the convenience of it. They give you a menu and you can sort of change things on the web site—what you want and what you don’t want but you got three meals, two snacks a day and it gets delivered to your house and it’s all packaged and fresh.”
