Gwyneth Paltrow is on the new cover of Haper’s Bazaar, talking about her hair, friendship with Madonna and her artistic passion.
On her recent hair cut: “I was very, very attached to my hair. I grew it when I was pregnant. I still had hair from when my father was alive. I made it like a talisman. And then I was ready to let go of it, and so I chopped it off and … aaah!”
On her friendship with Madonna: “She’s so physically beautiful and fit, it’s just crazy. I think part of the reason she looks so good is that she’s always striving for more knowledge. She’s a very interested woman.”
On her passion for working: “One of the things I realized when I took so much time off is that you’re not just an artist because you fall into the job. It’s something within you, something that burns. It’s not a hobby, it’s a need.”
