Australian swimmer Susie Maroney has given birth to her first child, a baby girl called Paris. It is not known if the 33-year-old reunited with her partner Rob Daniels, the baby’s father, before the birth as they split when she was 8-months-pregnant.
The swimmer has battled highs and lows during her life from winning marathon swims to tragedy after her twin brother Sean’s death and suffering a miscarriage. Her current pregnancy was originally twins, however one baby died in the womb. She is currently settling back at home with her 8-day-old daughter. Her mum Pauline told Confidential,
“She’s my 11th grandchild actually but special because Susie has been through so much and suffered her miscarriages.”
