Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached a custody settlement after battling for a year-and-a-half in court over their two sons. According to the agreement, which was signed by all parties, Federline retains sole custody of the couple’s two sons, Sean Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden James, 1 1/2. Britney, who is currently granted two visits and one overnight per week, will keep her visitation rights. According to Kevin’s attorrney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, the case is closed,
“The case has been settled. The court still has to approve it.”
Both Britney and Kevin are due in court Friday.
Back in July 2007, both Britney and Kevin shared 50-50 custody. Since then, Britney was twice forcibly hospitalized due to mental health issues and the boys were placed in Kevin’s care. Family lawyer, Lynn Soodik, who is not involved in the case commented on Britney’s chances of gaining more custody as time goes on,
“Until the kids turn 18, we can expect in years to come that Britney and Kevin will be back in court. Britney will have a better chance of winning more custody once she regains her health. This is just the end of Round One.”

From the beginning everyone new that britney did not want
full custody of her boys… She is never seen with them as she
use to be.. and that until we hear back on the court hearing

Hey, Lisa Smith, (I mean Betsy Smith) just saw you on Just Jared in ALL CAPS!! Seriously, what is your issue??!!!??
May she take this time to get her head together. She may not have custody, but those boys need their mother.
Typo – It says”…the couple’s two sons, Preston, and Jayden..”
