Making drawing fun and easy for children ages 2 and up, The Art House, in conjunction with Therapy Inc., has created the first in a planned series of children’s instructional DVD’s. Volume 1 teaches children of all ages how to draw using basic shapes as a base to create the artwork of their dreams. Friends Tiffany Jennings and Amy Wilkes, both mothers, came up with the idea for the series when they realized there was a lack of educational and easy-to-follow art videos. Jennings, an elementary school teacher, and Wilkes, a USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate used their creative and innovative minds together to create the Art House. The DVD is simple to follow and has both live action and animation to keep children engaged. This is such a fun and educational video – my 2-year-old son absolutely loves it and we’re sure to get lots of good use out of it for years to come. Celebrity fans of Art House include Brooke Shields, Tina Fey, Kim Raver, Jon and Kate Plus 8 and Conan O’Brian. Go to the Art House webiste for further information on this educational DVD.
