Dylan Douglas Has The Acting Bug

When Dylan Douglas, the 8-year-old son of Oscar-winners Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, expressed an interesting in acting, his parents enrolled him in classes. At his first lesson, he wanted to make sure his teacher to knew just how much potential he’s got.

“My son went to his first drama lesson and he turned to his teacher and said, ‘Don’t worry, I’m a really good actor. It’s in my genes’.”

I think he was just trying to be funny. At least I hope he was. There are definitly too many celeb kids that think they can be famous because of who there parents are. He is only 8, so I wouldn’t worry about that.

You know that boy has heard that all his life. I remember that she was asked about Dylan going to college (when he was still a baby) and she said something like “I will tell him that’s not what he’s meant for. Acting is in his genes.” I don’t remeber the exact quote.
