The name Russell Crowe is definitely not synonymous with the term ‘pushover,’ but the actor, who recently said being a father has helped his patience level tremendously, says that’s exactly what he is these days, thanks to wife Danielle and sons Charlie, 4 1/2, and Tennyson, 2.
“Between my wife and myself, I’m the pushover as far as the kids are concerned,” Crowe told PEOPLE at the New York premiere of his new spy thriller, Body of Lies. “I wouldn’t call myself strict as such, but I have certain desires for my boys, like any parent. I want my boys to be good boys.”
And, Russell says, he’s also learned to multitask,
“Everybody who’s got kids knows exactly what that drill is,” he says. “When you are the father of two, and sometimes mom’s got to work, you got to do it, man.”
