Angelina Jolie: 'KFP Is A Hit In The House'

Angelina Jolie has a history of making films that aren't the most kid-friendly, so it's a good thing that one of her only G-rated movies, Kung Fu Panda, is a big hit in her house. (The other one is 2004's Shark Tale, but when son Maddox, then 3, saw the movie, he didn't believe it was really his mom's voice.)

"It's a big hit in the house," she said. "Jack Black is like De Niro to the kids."

Angelina plans to reprise her vocal performance as Tigress in the sequel, due out in 2011, and after that, she said, she'll stay home for another full year. For the past several months, since the twins were born, the older kids have been home-schooled, "and they've had Mommy and Daddy every day for every meal, and they've been very close to us."

However, Angelina also says that deciding to take a job, kid-friendly or not, is "really hard"

"Who's in school at that time? How can I be sure I don't do too many long hours? Can the three youngest be on the set every day? As long as I can still be with my family, it's fun," she added. "But I only want to do that, and I'm not looking for anything else."

And she and Brad have not yet completed their family, which includes Maddox, 7, Pax, 5 in November, Zahara, 3 1/2, Shiloh, 2, and 3-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

"Oh, no," she said happily. "I mean, I know we seem crazy, just bringing them in one after the other, but we do plan. We make sure one is absorbed completely into the family before we add another. There are moments when we look at everyone around the dinner table, and it's just crazy, but our family is the greatest thing we've done in our lives."

And although she worries that one day soon Maddox, who is now old enough to use the internet, will "look up my name and see some kind of sexy pictures or read a story about himself that isn't true", she is eager for the day when she can put Mr. and Mrs. Smith in the DVD player at home.

"Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love. What's going to be funny is when they think Mom and Dad are a little bit cool," she added. "Because right now, we're not cool Mom and Dad. Even video games, you know, it's: 'Mom, you can't play this. You won't know how.' Oh, they all think I can't do anything, that I'm just there to snuggle with. But the other day Madd said, 'Can you do a cartwheel?' And I said, 'Yeah, I can.' And he was like, 'Wow, Mom.' And I thought: 'Oh, yeah. I can do some things. You wait. You'll find out. I'm capable.'"

Most of the interviews of Angie make me smile. She seems like a good mother. Someone who genuinely loves her children and whose life's most wonderful things they are. I'm not a big fan of her acting and I don't think that she is the most beautiful celebrity. She is beautiful and her acting is good but I'm not into her movies.
What makes her my favourite celebrity is her as a human being. As a mother and activist. I may not agree with her in everything (I for one am pasifist) but I feel she is real human being. Open and honest and trying to be best person she can.

“Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love." Huh??????? Will he also say, "Gee Mommy......wasn't Daddy married to someone else at the time you fell in love?"

That's the most romantic thing I've ever heard Angie saying. I'm dissolving here.

Oh please. Hollywood is filled with people in the same situation as Brad and Angie, i.e falling in love with someone else while one was still legally married. What about Julia Roberts, for example?

Brad doesn't strike me as the unfair, lying, cheating guy. Didn't he say that, at the time when the two met, he and Jennifer were, you know, "separated"?. I have no reason not to believe it. Even if it's just a strategy lie.

And I generally feel bad for the person caught in the middle of the turmoil. But in this case, I can't. I don't know what it is about Jennifer that makes me dislike her so much but I just feel like Brad and Angie are Hollywood's fairy tale story. The fact that they seem always so peaceful and all those adorable kids only augments my reasoning.

And I, on the contrary, still can't believe that Brad and Jennifer never again will be together. It was such a sad thing to happen, I still think they were made for each other.
There's something that I dislike in Angelina so much..maybe it's that she ruined the family?

The thing I don't get is, why would people WANT Brad and Jennifer to get back together? I mean, if he cheated on her and left her for another woman, WHY would she ever take him back, and why would you want her to? It's like those women who beat up the "other woman" because she's the WORST person in the entire situation, when it's the MAN who cheated with someone else. Sorry, have some self-esteem; what does it say about you that you are with someone who cheats on you?

And what makes me laugh so hard is that everyone is like "Angelina broke up the marriage!" I don't care how hard you try, a relationship that is healthy can't be broken up by someone else. It's possible to be happy and fall in love with someone else, but what happens after is the key - if you're happy in your marriage and fell in love with or are attracted to someone else, then you talk about it, and you work through it. The fact that Brad and Jen broke up speaks a lot about the state of their relationship. Plus, if you read interviews from BOTH Brad and Jen in late 2003/early 2004, even before he MET Angelina, they were already making statements that hinted at problems at home.
