My body has done this totally miraculous but utterly ordinary thing. The downside is that my vocabulary has shrunk to the size of a pea. Since having a kid I just don’t have the same access to the world. I don’t see as many shows, I don’t go to many movies and I hardly read any books anymore. im not sure how the whole 'godparent' thing works. what does that mean for jake since heath died? or is it just a tradition with no real meaning?
It used to be that godparents would have an active role in the religious education and such but it isnt like that anymore.. its mostly just an interest and important part of their lives these days... doesnt really mean anything more usually when a parent is lost. sometimes, like my cousin who lost her father young, her godfather and her started growing a closer bond becuase he was there for her and her family afterwards

I really admire Michelle for telling it as it is. True, a baby will turn your world upside down in every aspect! I barely can remember what I had for breakfast, my favorite tunes are the wiggles and now accustomed to speaking very slowly to my hubby when asked for explanation LOL :-)
