Brad Pitt Was 'Chosen' To Have Lots of Kids

Taraji P. Henson plays Brad Pitt's mother in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, due out Christmas day, but she says it's "Brad and Angie" who have the "parenting thing mapped out."

"There are some parents who are meant to be parents of multiple [children]. They were chosen," Henson told PEOPLE at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' birthday bash and Barack Obama victory party sponsored by Ciroc Vodka on Wednesday night. "We all know that he is an incredible artist, but he really is a great person and a great father."

She also adds that Brad and partner Angelina Jolie "spend one-on-one time with each child everyday,"

"[Brad] would bring a different child to the set every day and spend all day with that one child. I never saw a nanny. It was always him, Angelina, or his parents."

She described one of the visits,

"[Angelina] had Shiloh, and [Brad] grabbed my hand and was like, 'Taraji Taraji, come over here and meet Angie. Come and meet Angie,'" she recounts. "He was dragging me and I [thought], 'These are the coolest, most real and most down-to-earth people.' "

Brad has six Maddox, 7, Pax, 5 this month, Zahara, 3 1/2, Shiloh, 2 1/2, and 3 1/2-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne - with Angelina, and is set to appear on Oprah November 18th to promote the movie.
