Isla Fisher: "Shocked" By Being Criticized For Weight Gain
| Dec 8, 2008 by JENNY SCHAFER |

Isla Fisher, mom to adorable 1-year-old Olive and fiancé of British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, is also a swimsuit model. The 32-year-old, who made her big break on the Australian soap Home & Away and then in the smash hit Wedding Crashers, has not forgotten her Aussie roots. This month the actress is sporting a white swimsuit on the cover of the Australian edition of FHM. Isla talks about the critisism she received while being pregnant and how she bounced back into shape after having Olive.
On working out: "I have never been a big fan of working out and I've never been a sporty person - I was always more of a book worm. I know it sounds like a cliché, but I've been blessed with good genes. My mum is little, and I'm fortunate that I don't like eating junk food. I just don't like the taste of it."
On being criticized for putting on weight when she was expecting: "When I was pregnant, I remember someone wrote on a blog that I had gained too much weight. I remember being really shocked that even during something as incredible and beautiful as pregnancy, you are still subject to body fascism."
