Tom Cruise Speaks Out About Jett Travolta's Death

Jett Travolta's private memorial service is being held today in Ocala, Fla., and Tom Cruise taped a segment on The View today where he spoke about his friend's son.

"I remember Jett when he was born," Tom says. "I saw him when he was just a few months old and John just adored him, and both of his children, and Kelly. I just don't have the words for it. It's just horrific. Here you have a man, both of them doting parents, they're wonderful people and…"

16-year-old Jett died January 2 after a seizure. Soon after, rampant speculation began swirling that Jett died because his parents refused to seek medical treatment for his seizures because of their religious beliefs. However, Tom says that's absolutely not true.

"That's just not true," he says. "They say, 'Get your physical, get your medication, get your physical illnesses handled.'"

The View segment is set to air tomorrow.

Notice how he says "physical", so that sickening attack on Brooke Shields and her use of drugs for post-partum depression was perfectly OK?!

RIP Jett. I'm sure he'll be looking over his baby sister Ella - I just hope she will be allowed therapy to get over this tragedy if she needs it.

Such sad news.
But Tom seems like a total FAME WHORE for commenting on his death in my opinion.
