Leaving wife Jennifer Garner and his new baby daughter, born just three days ago, at home, actor Ben Affleck spent some time with his first baby girl, Violet. He picked up the 3-year-old from school in Santa Monica, California.
There is still no news on a name for Violet's little sister - but everyone here definitely has lots of ideas!

What is the big secret with the name? Photos and other private moments okay, but what is the big deal with releasing birth name/ date/ time of birth/ weight & measurements?
This kind of secrecy just builds up the suspense and makes the paps more eager to go to great lengths to get information and pics.
Unless they're still hashing it over on the name. It's really none of our business when and what they name their new daughter, no requirement that the public needs to have this information.

I don't think they are being secretive, they're just not announcing the birth of their child to the tabloids/gossip sites.

Yes, no. 6, I feel entitled to know the name of a complete and total newborn stranger who was born three days ago. Like my only purpose to have ever been put on this earth is to know this very minute what the The Garner-Affleck's newborn daughter's first, middle, and last name is. It keeps me from sleep at night. I cannot function at my job. My friends and family do not know me anymore. I will not be myself again or face this world until I have this very important, very critical, life-altering, earth-shattering information to hold onto.

Actually, his brother Casey went much further. He never announced when the baby was born AT ALL...a couple of months after he was born, a baby blog site or something remembered his wife had been very pregnant in September 07 and asked his rep about it. THe rep said yes they had a child. So everybody assumed she had JUST had it. Only later did someone figure out that actually the kid was already 2 months old! They still havent told the name although it is rumored to be Atticus.
No1/ no9, take a xanax and relax. To all the others, why do people feel entitled to know someone else's baby's name?
You can't tell me that you're not interested in what they named the baby. Personally, I think they are doing it for the publicity, holding out on releasing the name.
