Salma Hayek On Her "Little Dictator"

Newlywed Salma – she married Valentina’s dad François-Henri Pinault in a surprise ceremony last month – reveals that she is blessed to have many sources of joy in her life.

“I’m very lucky to have wonderful things in my life,” she shares. “If I’m having a bad day, I just think about my child or my dogs. I don’t need to go to a character’s life to feel happy.”

Little Valentina seems to be the apple of her mom’s eye – though at 18 months she’s no pushover! Calling her “a little dictator,” Salma, 42, goes on to say that her daughter is a constant source of awe.

“I don't know if it's motherhood that's surprising or that Valentina is so surprising. I am in awe of her - she's very magical. I feel so connected to her but at the same time I discover something new about her every day.”
