Ron & Cheryl Howard Stroll With Grandson

Richie Cunningham is a grandpa! Ron Howard, the 55-year-old Academy Award-winning filmmaker and producer, was seen taking an early afternoon stroll through Santa Monica with Cheryl Howard, his high school sweetheart and wife of 33 years, and their 2-year-old grandson, Theodore 'Theo' Gabel. Theo is Ron's eldest daughter, actress Bryce Dallas Howard's first child.

Ron and Cheryl are also parents to 23-year-old twin girls, Jocelyn Carlyle and Paige Carlyle, and 21-year-old son Reed Cross. Ron revealed that their daughters' middle names indicate where they were conceived: Bryce in Dallas, twins Jocelyn and Paige at the Hotel Carlyle in New York City. Son Reed Cross was named after a London street because "Volvo isn't a very good middle name", joked Howard.

Wow, I hadn't seen Theo since he was a baby. He looks just like his dad.
About Ron... I'd be so embarassed if my parents said where I was conceived lol

Lord, my middle name would be Susannah Garden City or Susannah Schenectady, so I'm glad my parents didn't go that route!
