Nicole & Joel @ The Richie-Madden Children's Foundation Fundraiser

An expectant Nicole Richie, 27, and her partner Joel Madden, 30, were photographed at The Richie-Madden Children's Foundation host fundraiser for UNICEF's Tap Project in Los Angeles on Monday night. Joel's identical twin brother, Benji Madden, was also in attendance supporting the foundation.

The Richie-Madden Children's Foundation provides general and program grants to nonprofit organizations in the USA and abroad primarily in the areas of healthcare, education and human rights. On their official Web site, Harlow's parents state, "We hope our support will shine a spotlight on important issues facing children and will inspire and educate the public, especially young people, to get involved." Nicole and Joel launched their foundation in November 2007. Joel commented on their reason for becoming involved in charity work, "[Having a child] opens your eyes. Every child I look at reminds me of my child. And every mother I see reminds me of Nicole.”
