Madonna Set To Adopt Again?

The 50-year-old Material Girl, who recently divorced her husband of 8 years Guy Ritchie, is reportedly on her way to Malawi to adopt another child.

Madonna and Guy adopted their now 3-year-old son David from Malawi in 2006. She is also mom to Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, 8.

According to the Associated Press, Madonna has already filed the necessary paperwork and the adoption has been confirmed with a US government official.

While Madonna’s rep hasn’t commented on the rumors, the singer recently admitted she’s been “considering” adopting again, saying, "Many people - especially our Malawian friends - say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister.”

Last week the UK paper The Telegraph reported that Madonna – who has been linked to 22-year-old Brazilian model Jesus Luz since her divorce – ran into a few obstacles thanks to her headline-making love life. "Our official policy is that we do not encourage our children to be sent into broken homes," a senior official in the Malawi government was quoted as saying.
