Johnny Depp's Next Project: Spongebob!

The Pirates of the Caribbean star lends his voice to an upcoming episode of the Nickelodeon hit Spongebob Squarepants. He'll play Jack Kahuna Laguna, an "enigmatic surf guru" who helps Spongebob and friends when they end up marooned on a remote tropical island.

If you're a Johnny Depp fan - or a Spongebob fan - be sure to tune into the special episode on April 17th.

Johnny, who has kids Lily-Rose, 9, and Jack, almost 7, with girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, was spotted this week in Puerto Rico on the set of his new film The Rum Diary.
