Angelina Jolie Is Tired But Happy
Mom-of-six Angelina Jolie says she’s finally found happiness thanks to her family.
The Lara Croft star says of her home life with Brad Pitt and the kids, "I'm much happier and more fulfilled than I thought I would ever be, especially when I was going through a lot of grief when I was younger. I hope it lasts.”
She admits it’s not all perfect, though – she could do with a bit more sleep!
“The biggest problem is just lack of sleep,” Angelina tells Britain's Closer magazine, adding, “But all parents face that - you're just grateful when the kids fall asleep and you can collapse on the couch together."
One of the biggest stars in the world, she insists that motherhood always takes precedence over movie-making:
"I'm not as ambitious as I used to be - my family is my priority. When we get film offer, we ask ourselves, 'Will it be good for the family?'"
Reports that Angelina – who is rumored to have been on a strict diet to shed weight for her role – recently fainted on the set of her new film, Salt, were shot down today, with a studio rep saying, "I can confirm that those rumors are in fact not true!"

Blah Blah Blah. I'm so sick of her
I like how she and Brad Pitt say that their kids take precedent over work. That is perfectly fine until you realise that the maths do not add up. This is actually what they do: when one of them is working, the other stays home but as soon as that one wraps their work, they take about a month off and then the other one goes to work. Pitt just finished filming Inglorious Bastard and as soon as he finished, Jolie started Salt and that is in the middle of Pitt producing various projects. Their story will be more believable if their schedule didn't show them saying Hello and at the same time they say Goodbye, leaving for work.
I think it does ad up, it makes perfect sense to not work at the same time.
Anna, not working at the same time is not the story here since that is pretty much what most in the film industry do anyway. My point is that in their case, they do it too closely together.
The way they talk, you would think they stay at home for a long time and just pop out to work and that is not the case. All they do is ensure one parent is at home while the other works and the way they do it is that, the other one is packing to go off to his or her movie set about one week before the other one finishes his or her movie.
Once Jolie finishes Salt, Pitt is going to start shooting another movie since he has about 2 new ones to shoot and these are not short shoots of about 2 months.
When exactly do they get to spend that lengthy family time they brag about all the time? The only time they were settled was during Jolie's pregnancy.
Of course they are entitled to work but if they are going to drone on about family being more important they perhaps they want to spread their work out a bit instead of "alternating" who gets to stay at home.
So, so sick of this woman.
Oh please, how can you be sick of this women when she has not been heard from lateley. It is a simple interview, and regarding work, many of you know that if you had the chance to take turns with your spouse in working, while the children were always able to be with a parent, you would do the same thing. Please you sound like a bunch jealous angry people.
Where have you been? This freak is everywhere either to pimp something or as tabloid fodder. Pass any news stands lately?
Actually, their children see a lot more of each parent than most kids with two working parents do. I think the Jolie-Pitt kids are extremely lucky. My husband works second shift, so when we have kids, he'll only be able to see them on the weekends. It's a sad situation, but with the economy the way it is now, he has no choice. I envy Angelina and Brad's kids. They get the best of both worlds, a chance to really spend time and get to know both their mother and their father. They're a lucky family.
They have worked it out great. I know lots of people who one parent works days, and in the evenings they pass off to the other working parent. Others that work weekends apart. This couple gets to have lots of time together (the don't film 24/7) and without the interruption of household chores. They get to take the kids with them from work site to work site instead of dropping off at a day care or other.
And I dont believe that they have done many interviews lately. Most of what I see at the newsstands are the normal trashy paparazzi shots not genuine articles. And true artlicles are a part of their work just like my husbands business trips and meetings. These kids and the parents are probably just fine.
definetly sick of hearing about this woman also. and ya things are so perfect and wonderful til brad meets the next young beatiful actress or until angelina gets bored
