Is Prince's New Song About Salma Hayek?

A track on Prince's new album MPLSoUND is raising a few eyebrows.

Here are the lyrics that have people talking:

“Hey Valentina, tell your mama she should give me a call/ When she get tired of runnin’ after you down the hall/And she’s all worn out from those late-night feedings/and she’s ready for another rock and roll meeting.”

People are of course speculating that the "mama" Prince is referring to is newlywed Salma Hayek, mom to 17-month-old daughter Valentina Paloma.

If true, it wouldn't be the first time Prince penned a song in honor of a Hollywood beauty. His 1994 hit "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" was reportedly a tribute to Las Vegas star Vanessa Marcil.

No word from Prince just yet as to the true inspiration behind the song.

As a long-time Prince admirer, it wouldn't surprise me...Prince and Salma are friends and she was the director on his music video Te Amo Corazón, from the 3121 album. Prince called Hayek, who drafted the original treatment for the video, "the most thoughtful, attentive director I have ever worked with."
