Nicole Richie's Maternity Style

Nicole Richie showed off her growing baby bump in a form-fitting dress while making a stop at a Hollywood office building on Friday.

The expectant mom and her boyfriend Joel Madden continued with their new Twitter hobby today, with Joel sharing a pic of a much younger - and slightly less chic - Nicole with a post saying, "This is why I love her folks."

Nicole responded in her own defense: "Everyone has an awkward phase. Let me have something! Can you believe my mom let me have curly bangs!"

The couple, who are already parents to 14-month-old daughter Harlow, are expecting their second child in late August/early September.

I love this look. I agree with previous posters, her bump does look weird, but I think it has to do with her size and that dress. I hope she is being carefull, she could trip on that dress especially in those heels!

is there something in the water in california? it never fails. women in hollywood start showing through their clothes at like 15 weeks. there are friends of mine who didn't show (and they were looking at their bare bellies) through their clothes until the end of the 6th month to the start of the 7th month. i know she's wearing a clingy outfit or whatever, but still. lots of my friends didn't show that much with something a little--just a little--tight. what's that about?
