Joshua Duggar, 21 and wife Anna are expecting their first child, PEOPLE reports. The new baby will be the first grandchild for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who currently star in a reality show, 18 Kids And Counting, featuring their lives with 18 children.
Joshua says of the news, "I am very excited and am learning new ways every day that I can be there for my wife. I thought that she would be the only one going through the emotions of pregnancy, but I'm right there with her."
The couple, who have created their own personal website featuring photos and the story of their first meeting, married in September 2008 and live close to the extended Duggar family.

None of the Duggars expect anybody else to pay or care for their children. Congratulations and good luck.
I'm so excited for them! I'm sure they will be great parents. They may be young, but they are both very mature, and they have a lot of help nearby!
It is possible that there will eventually be too many people to have in one place. They may have to start renting halls and catering family dinners....especially if each Duggar child has 10 or 15 children of their own! But they all seem very happy.
hopefully his parents stop having kids now. maybe when they're grandparents they'll get the hint that enough is enough.

Why can't they have as many kids as they want? They aren't getting any money from the government, and it in no way affects you. They are resourceful and according to their religion, God makes the final decision. Telling them to stop and judging them could be considered persecuting them for their beliefs.
Actually they are getting help. how do you think they paid for their custom built home. They are living on 1 salary for 20 people, they get help it just isnt blown up like it is for the Octo-Mom.
Actually they are not getting help. They are committed to living a debt free life. They pay as they go. The built that home in stages. Prior to them having Josh they worked a lot and very hard. They purchased commercial real estate and make their living from that. Jim Bob also has property in which there is a cell phone tower on it. The owner of the tower pays the Duggars rent for them using their land. Theoiry also buy wholesale and only shop at thrift stores. Their motto is "buy on sale and save the difference" Michelle home schools the kids. They make homemade meals, not fast food. They are supporting their family. I think they are absolutely amazing people.
Hmmmm..... wish Anna and Josh would've waited a little while to start a family. They really didn't know each other all that well when they got married and it would've been nice to see them work on their marriage some before adding the stress of a newborn. Hope the can avoid the pitfalls a lot of young couples fall into. I just think they made it twice as hard on themselves by having kids so soon. My parents waited 6 years before having kids and I respect them for that. I think it made them much better parents because their marriage was a lot more stable when they decided to bring children into the picture.

I wish them the best of luck! what an amazing family they are.What many people don't know is that this family is completely debt free. They don't receive handouts. We as a nation should learn from them! It is incredible that they can live their life like they do, read their book before you pass judgement!
i would love to know how much they are getting paid for their 18 and never ending tv show
