Hugh Jackman: "I Love My Wife More Every Day"

Australia star Hugh Jackman says it was like love at first sight when he met his wife Deborra Lee-Furness almost 15 years ago.

"It was my first big acting job on [Australian TV show] Correlli - she was the star, my leading lady. She was beautiful and larger than life. Everyone on set was in love with her. I had a crush on her for ages and started planning my proposal after three months."

Hugh, 40, credits Deborra and their kids Oscar, 8, and Ava, 3, with helping him to handle the pressures of fame.

"My wife Deb, and kids Oscar and Ava, keep me grounded. When I won the Sexiest Man Alive award, Oscar said, 'What, you?' Deb's amazing, nothing fazes her. She doesn't have an ounce of jealousy and there's no competition between us. I've always been romantic - I love Deb more every day."

As for Deborra, she says of her husband's legions of adoring female fans, "I'm starting to get used to it now."

She recently talked about their happy home life, saying, "I think it's just chemistry. When things come together, they’re meant to be together. It works."

Hugh made an impressive entrance while promoting his new film X-Men Origins: Wolverine in Australia last week, hanging outside of a helicopter before descending to the crowd on a zip wire!
