Julie Chen, 39-year-old co-anchor of The Early Show, announced to viewers on Tuesday that she and husband, CBS Corporation President And CEO, Les Moonves, 60, are having a baby: “I am expecting my first child.”
Rubbing her mini baby bump, Julie continued, “So it wasn’t a big Sunday at the buffet table. I’m starting to show now! And my due date is Oct. 4. So, fingers crossed, and … I’m not taking maternity leave from (the CBS show) Big Brother,” which she hosts. “I e-mailed my boss over there this weekend and I said, ‘Don’t worry. I can still do the show!’”
The new baby will join Les’ three adult children from a previous marriage – Adam, Michael and Sara.
Congratulations to the Chen-Moonves family!
