Kate Winslet & Family: Strollin' In The Big Apple

Kate Winslet was photographed with her husband Sam Mendes, daughter Mia, 8 1/2, and son Joe, 5, out for a family walk in New York City on Tuesday. Mia's dad is Kate's ex-husband Jim Threapleton; Joe's is Sam Mendes.

The 33-year-old Academy Award winning actress said the best advice she has for her kids is to live authentically: “‘Be yourself—that’s all you need to be. Why do you want to be like that person? Be you. Be you.’”

What a lovely family! They seem very down to earth. Sam, Kate (and Jim) raise Mia and Joe so well! Very important that the kids should be themselves, instead of being pushed to do a certain job or education.
