Sarah Jessica Parker & James' School Run

Sarah Jessica Parker, who just announced that she and hubby Matthew Broderick are expecting twin daughters this summer through a surrogate pregnancy, was seen taking her 6-year-old son James Wilke Broderick to school in New York City on Friday morning.

Broderick, 47, and Parker, 44, are thrilled about their bundles of joy to arrive soon: "[We are] happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate. The entire family is overjoyed."

i dont understand why they dont cut his hair. i think it looks ridiculous ... so maybe if the twin girls are there, James can be a boy with short hair

oh give it a rest people! It's her kid, so just stop with the rude remarks about his hair and pants! As long as he is happy, and healthy long hair and short pants are he least of his parent's worries. They are wonderful loving involved parents.

If Octomom dressed her older kids like this, you'd be the first to scream that child protective services needs to get involved and she's an unfit mother. This kid is just getting to the age where the other kids are going to start making fun of his flood pants; if his parents care so much then they should take the really minimal step of buying him clothes that fit.

I don't care for the hair or pants either, but it's their kid. He really would look so much cuter with shorter hair and clothes that fit

It's just really crazy that they can't cut this boys hair or buy him pants that come down to his shoes!!!

okay no one said anything about brooke burns' daughter when she pretty much shaved it all off...

i LOVE the little guys' hair, it's adorable and different, not all boys have to have the same cut. but the pants are a little iffy.

okay first off "Anonymous" I could careless how the "Octomom" dresses her kids she isn't my problem, just because you don't like the way a child is dressed doesn't mean they have bad parents and that social services should be called. If James gets made fun of for his pants then he will probably decide to get longer pants, its his choice to wear them. There is no crime for letting your child pick their own clothes and there is no law saying you have to dress your child perfectly or social services is going to say your a bad parent and take your child or children away.

How do you people know that HE isn't the one keeping his hair long?? He may be like Ryder (Kate Hudson's son) and Rene-Charles (Celine Dion's son), and just really like long hair. Why do you guys always feel the need to put people in boxes- just because he's a boy doesn't mean he HAS to have short hair. I hope they cut the twin girls' hair really short- then you guys'll really go nuts!

At his age, if his hair and clothes bothered him, he would probably let them know. He never looks stressed about it in pictures. My son wore long curly hair (his choice) until about 14. It was clean and combed. I didn't feel like it needed to be a battle. Since about 14 he started buzzing it off and wears it that way now. James seems quite content as he is at the present.

I don't mind the hair. I mean if he likes it, they like it, whatev. But the pants. I can NOT get over the pants. Every single picture of this kid, he is in highwaters. Why? Why can't his pants be a regular length? I mean her pants aren't short. Matthew's pants aren't short. So what is the deal?? One or two pairs maybe, but every single pair? I just thinks its odd. Very odd..

I'm not feeling the hair. Sorry. I'm for people having their individual styles but I'm not too big on little boys looking like little girls.
