Expectant mom Heidi Klum isn’t letting pregnancy slow her down, putting in a stylish appearance at tonight’s Costume Institute Gala in New York.
Heidi, who is mom to daughter Leni, 5, and sons Henry, 3, and Johan, 2, as well as having baby #4 on the way, donned a dramatic – and incredibly voluminous – purple and black gown for the occasion.
The Project Runway host wasn’t the only fashionable mom at the gala benefit – Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Liv Tyler and others also took a turn on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Part of Heidi’s secret must be that she’s always so full of, well, the Joy of Life — she just radiates positive energy! (vs. one-dimensional pretties like, say, Kate Bosworth)
There were so many well-turned-out celebrity moms — Kate Hudson, etc. — including model moms like Cindy Crawford and Natalia Vodianova — but I guess you had to stop somewhere! Though fine with me if you skip Madonna’s yikes-y costume, haha (“Roadkill Joins the Circus”?).

Jessica Alba looked so wonderful. As did everyone you had in your gallery – well, Victoria Beckham’s dress is too costume-y for me but she has a great body so she can wear it.
