It's A Boy For Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough!

There's a new boy in town! Howie Dorough and wife Leigh welcomed son James Hoke Dorough on Wednesday, May 6th on 2:30 p.m. James weighed in at 4.5 lbs. and was 16 ¼″ inches in length. James’ middle name is in honor of Howie’s late father Hoke, who died last year from brain and lung cancer.

A statement on the Backstreet Boys’ Web site proudly announced James' arrival. "Both Mommy and baby are doing great and Howie D is an ecstatic new daddy. They’d like to thank everyone for their well wishes!!”

Earlier this year, Howie said his wife was sure to be a fabulous mother: "I know she's going to be a great mother. If she can take care of me, the biggest baby in the entire world, I think she's going to be okay with the little one coming along."
