Natascha McElhone & Her "Dream Baby" Cover Hello!

A year after the death of her husband Martin Kelly, Natascha McElhone says that he is "very present in our lives."

"We speak about him all the time," the mom-of-three tells UK's Hello! magazine.

Natascha, 36, was expecting their third child when Martin died of a heart attack, just days after the couple's 10th wedding anniversary.

When it came time to deliver the baby, the Californication star tells Hello! why she felt she needed to do it on her own:

"It just felt right somehow. If Martin couldn't be there, I couldn't replace him with someone, as that would have felt very strange. I wanted to be on my own because that was the way it was going to be. I was going to be my baby's only parent so I may as well get used to it. But I was fortunate to have the most brilliant obstetrician. He knew Martin, so he was wonderful."

Natascha says that her 6-month-old son Rex fits right in with his big brothers Theo, 8, and Otis, 5.

"He's a very happy child - a dream baby. They just adore their little brother and are forever smothering him in kisses".

As well as being a famed plastic surgeon, Martin was the founder of Facing The World, a foundation that treats kids born with facial disfigurements.
