Jake & Deacon Grab Breakfast To Go

Deacon Phillippe spent some one-on-one time with both his mom and her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal this weekend in Brentwood. He's pictured above going on a bakery run with the actor Sunday (May 17).

Saturday was game day, the 5 1/2-year-old hit the fields with mom Reese Witherspoon, who carried a tote bag with Deacon's name on it. Witherspoon, 33, will be starring as a softball player in her upcoming untitled film and has been seen practicing her skills at a local softball field.

I think this is a great picture of Jake and Deacon. I was just wondering why no one says anything harsh about this blended family, but when there are pictures of Giselle, Tom Brady and his son, everyone starts saying Giselle is stepping on Bridgette Moyahann toes... what gives? What is the difference I am really curious.

I'm not sure either, but I think the media flack started over Gisele saying something like she considers the baby to be 100% hers. Personally, I thought it was a non-issue and that the media was just looking for its next gossip target but it got quite a lot of people irate.
