Sarah Michelle Gellar & Freddie Prinze Jr Thinking Pink?

Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr have kept a low profile since news broke that they are expecting their first child, but rumor has it they have a baby girl on the way!

A source on the set of Sarah Michelle’s new show The Wonderful Maladys says that she and Freddie are are thinking pink.

“She’s been letting little details slip here and there. She’s been spending her free time planning the nursery in their TriBeca apartment. Sarah wants the room to look sophisticated, so nothing too frilly or princessy. She’s been shopping for earth tones to mix with plum or magenta accents.”

Whether they have a boy or a girl, Sarah Michelle’s friend and former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Michelle Trachtenberg says she is going to make a wonderful mom.

“We talk every other day. I’m super excited! I’m so very happy for her and Freddie. She’s going to be an extraordinary mom. Good people make great parents.”

Michelle goes on to compare the longtime and low-key couple to other of our favorite famous families:

“It’s in the Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner or Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin vein – they really don’t talk about their relationship. They keep their private, personal love life to themselves. That’s what makes it so special.”

Freddie and Sarah Michelle are seen here enjoying time together last week as the mom-to-be takes a break from filming on the NY set of The Wonderful Maladys.

Love them! But look at her roots. For some reason I never knew her hair was naturally dark.
