Gilbert Gottfried & Wife Welcome Son Max

Comedian Gilbert Gottfried, 54, and his wife Dara welcomed their son Max Aaron on May 18th!

Max was born weighing 7lbs,14oz and measuring 20 inches long. He joins big sister Lily Aster, who turns 2 this month.

“Max has a full head of dirty blond hair," the proud - and exhausted - mom reports. "I am very tired, but labor was a lot easier than with Lily!”

Max is certainly proving to be a popular name in celebrity circles these days! Lance Armstrong and his girlfriend Anna Hansen welcomed their son Max just last week, and Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera all chose the name for their boys as well.

Dara explains why Max holds special meaning for their family:

“Max is named after Gilbert’s father Max and my grandmother Mildred. Our son was also born on his grandfather Max’s birthday!"
