No Nudity For Reese Witherspoon

No Nudity For Reese Witherspoon

Mom-of-two Reese Witherspoon says she chooses roles with her kids in mind – and that’s why she refuses to bare all on screen.

The 33-year-old Oscar-winner explains why she won’t do nude scenes:

“I had my first baby when I was 23, so for me, no. I’ve always been choosing roles knowing that I have a daughter and I have a responsibility to her and to the world to be representing women of strength.

“These are the women I know in life. I think it’s a natural extension of parenthood for you to feel like you’re responsible for the worlds you create, whether they be silly or serious. I think you are responsible for the art you put in the world.”

Reese has kids Ava, 9, and Deacon, 5, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Reese’s latest film was the family-friendly animated movie, Monsters Vs. Aliens.

Didn’t she do nudity before? Or maybe that was before she had children.

Yes, she did. But yes, I believe before children. So, I guess she won’t be showing her kids THOSE movies.

Not that it really matters, but yes, she went topless in a couple scenes from the movie “Twilight” in 1998.

    In a related note:

Me: Did you hear about that actress who got in trouble for assaulting her boyfriend? You know… Reese… uhh, Reese…

    You: Witherspoon?

Me: No, with her knife. BA-DUM-BUMP!!!
