Neil Patrick Harris Searches For A Surrogate

Update: Though the Star Magazine article's title may give the illusion that Neil and David are already expecting, the actor reveals to AfterElton.com: "We are not currently expecting a baby. Maybe someday."

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner, actor David Burtka, are in the process of looking for a surrogate mother to carry their baby, reports Star Magazine.

The couple, who have been together for five years, chose the Growing Generations surrogacy agency in Los Angeles. This is the same agency that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick used to find a surrogate for their twin girls, who are due next month.

A source revealed: “Neil and David were so relieved and excited once they were approved. Now they have so many surrogate profiles to go through to find the right woman to carry their child. [They] can’t wait to hold their baby; they don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl. They just want a healthy child."

Though the Star article's title may give the illusion that Neil and David are already expecting, the actor tells USMagazine.com: "We are not currently expecting a baby. Maybe someday."
