Liv Tyler and her 4 1/2-year-old son Milo took shelter under an umbrella yesterday afternoon as they left their New York brownstone.

The lovely Lord of the Rings star - who celebrated her 32nd birthday this week - and her son are back in NYC these days afer a stay in LA.
