Busy mom Jennifer Garner was back on the school run today, picking up her pig-tailed daughter Violet, 3 1/2, from her Santa Monica preschool.
Little Violet happily clutched a red, white and blue wand as she and her mom headed back to the car.
Jennifer and her husband Ben Affleck are also parents to 5 1/2-month-old daughter Seraphina.

Why don't the paps stay away from Violet's school? A woman has been injured by camera equipment. They're disruptive and the parents are very angry about what they have to put up with when trying to pick up their children.

I never knew it was supposed to be a braid either... i can honestly say everyone in my 25 years of living in 6 different states, and everything ive ever read online has called what shes wearing pigtails. One of those cultural things that isnt actually correct, kind of interesting to me.
They are pigtails. Pigtails do not have to be braided. I hate the way they dress Violet. She is such a cute girl but what in the world is she wearing???

Geez..."pigtails" are braids, "ponytails" would be hair that is secured with a rubber band and left to hang - thereby resembling an actual pony tail. So she used the wrong term, what's the big deal?
Violet is adorable whether in pigtails OR ponytails.

LET'S take a look inside her bag a zippy cup and Vi's art work.. Since Ben is
still in Boston why would Vi be in School unless it is daycare.. School is out
for summer we do not see Meg Ryan or Gwyneth Paltrow picking up there
kids just Jen alone.. The parents went to court about Vi's publicity and now
that she is back at the same school hope things pipe down.She is wearing
a marguriet flower blouse
those are called pigtails also. you can find the definition of pigtail at wikipedia.
