Tom & Marcia's Climbin' Kids
Marcia Cross & her husband Tom Mahoney were photographed with their 2-year-old twin daughters, Eden and Savannah (red hoodie), climbing trees and having a great time at a park in Santa Monica on Sunday (July 5).
The Desperate Housewives actress recently opened up about taking the twins to the hospital where Tom undergoes treatments for an undisclosed type of cancer. “I was sort of apprehensive, but we just wanted to make it really normal. We didn’t tell them where they were going in case we had to change plans, but they came in and they were so happy to see him. They just wanted to explore everything. It was great. It’s the best medicine. They don’t know what a hospital is, they don’t care. It’s just, ‘There’s dad!’ ”

I'm so glad to see he's doing well. Beautiful FAMILY!!!!!!
beautiful family
I love you marcia :)
I'm a huge fan of the site, but I have a real problem with animal references to anyone's children. As a mom of 3, I certainly wouldn't appreciate it.
@Francesca, lighten-up ;)
I am so in love with this girls. Francesca, You are so right about the animal references.
I apologize if my animal references were offensive. I'll be sure to keep this in mind for future posts.
Jenny, your animal references were not offensive. Please don't adjust your writing to every uptight person. Soon enough you won't be able to write anything.
Thanks for your comment, Anna. It has inspired me to comment again...
I try to make my comments cute - I try to play with words a bit. I likened the Mahoney twins to monkeys since they're climbing in trees.
Perhaps this analogy triggered an unpleasant childhood memory of being bullied and compared to an animal? Perhaps some of you are deeply religious and likening human beings to animals validates the the theory of evolution which you take offense to? Or maybe you just don't like animals?
Either way, my own beliefs lie closely with Anna's: if I can't compare 2-year-old twin girls who are playfully climbing in a tree to monkeys, then I think we've gone a bit far with the whole politically correct movement.
I'll leave my post as is, but will not be held back with cute animal analogies in the future.
And as always, your comments are welcome, whether you agree with us or not! Peace out!
