Fernando Torres Welcomes A Daughter!

Soccer star Fernando Torres and wife Olalla Dominguez have welcomed their first child - a baby girl! Nora was born Monday, June 8 in Santiago Compostela, Spain at 10:20 a.m., weighing in at 3 kilos, 7 grams.

Olalla had a natural birth, despite having to be induced and the doctor, a family friend of the new mother, declared the baby “in perfect condition”. Fernando is staying at the hospital with his wife.

Fernando hired extra security for the hospital to ensure their privacy and the couple spent ten days prior to the birth keeping a low profile at Olalla’s parent’s house. Fernando’s parents have arrived from Madrid to visit their grandchild.

The proud new parents were married in May.
