Jackson Custody Hearing Delayed

The custody hearing for Michael Jackson's three children has been delayed from July 13 to July 20 at 8.30 a.m., reports Radar Online.

The Jackson's lawyer, Londell McMillian, released the following statement: "We are pleased that the child custody hearing has been continued over until July 20th to further our progress and allow us to privately and amicably resolve this most important matter in a dignified manner for the benefit of the children first and all involved."

For now, the children – Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7 - remain in the custody of Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson.

I still can't believe that a person of Michael Jackson's standing/popularity, etc. didn't have his children's custody arranged beforehand. I would think being a single parent would make a person doubly careful about such things.
