Josh Duhamel Looks Forward To Fatherhood

Fame and fortune doesn’t mean much without a family to share it with. So says Transformers star Josh Duhamel, who recently talked to Men’s Health magazine about marriage and movie-making.

“I want to do good work, but having kids and a life outside of that is important," he reveals. “If you don’t have anybody around who loves you, then what’s it all for? You’re just lonely in the end.”

It can be a challenge juggling career and family, but Josh says he thinks the two go hand-in-hand.

“It’s all about whatever enriches you. If you decide to go the domestic route and get married and all those things, it makes you a better actor.”

Though both Josh, 36, and his wife, Black Eyed Peas singer Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson, want children one day, for now the newlyweds are just enjoying married life.

"It just feels more chill now because there’s less pressure,” Josh says. “We’ve done it, we’re together, we’re happy… and it’s a great feeling. Everything I do now involves [Fergie], and I love that. Sometimes it amazes me that she chose me."
