Update: Jon Gosselin To Design Children’s Clothing Line

Update: A rep for Christian Audigier has since told USMagazine.com that despite reports of Jon Gosselin starting a children’s clothing line with the designer, there is no such project in the works. “Christian is absolutely not starting a kids’ clothing line with Jon,” the rep tells Us. “As of right now, there is no clothing line in the works between them at all.”

A recently separated Jon Gosselin was in St. Tropez this weekend to discuss his newest endeavor - a children’s clothing line - with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier.

Jon, along with reported girlfriend Hailey Glassman, daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed his soon to be ex-wife Kate’s tummy tuck, spent the weekend along the French Riviera while details of the clothing line were being finalized.

Hailey will also have a hand in the process: “She’ll have a lot of input with Christian,” Jon told PEOPLE. “And I will too.” He also mentioned that his eight children, who were at home with Kate in Pennsylvania for the weekend, will model his designs in advertisements.

Christian, who knew he wanted to work with Jon after seeing the tattoo-inspired shirts that he often wore on Jon and Kate Plus Eight, believes this line will be a hit: “He’s huge. Everyone knows this family. And everyone will know our clothes. They’ll be fun, easy clothes for kids.”

The new couple also seemed to be a hit: “They couldn’t take their eyes off each other,” says a friend of Christian. “They looked so happy together.”

Jon told PEOPLE, “I feel very relaxed [but] every ten minutes I keep thinking about the kids and missing them.”

Jon will be home Tuesday to film new episodes of the reality show, which will return from hiatus August 3.
