Brangelina Goes House Hunting

Living large in New York City is no small task. Just ask Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The posh parents are rumored to be buying a huge apartment at a huge price. With lots of money to spare, the couple, according to a source in the New York Post, is looking into the historic Apthorp luxury building.

A legacy in its own right, the Apthorp was modeled after the Pittie Palace and should have enough of the vintage feel favored by Jolie as well as plenty of the modern technology and energy-saving features required by Pitt. Rumored to be buying up to three units in the elegant building at approximately $25 million, the two better get everything they want.

With 24-hour concierge service and a private courtyard for entering and exiting one’s car (great to keep the paparazzi away), the Apthorp is sure to be a perfect home for the camera shy Jolie-Pitts.

Other celebrities who have called this Upper West Side building home include Al Pacino, Conan O’Brien and Rosie O’Donnell.
